This one was designed for Caleb Meyer, owner of Caleb Meyer Studios in Philadelphia (he carries a few of my knives for sale—thanks). He had been asking for a chef's or kitchen knife and we designed it together. The blade is made from 1095/15N20 wave pattern damascus. Overall length is 11 1/2” with a blade length of 6 3/4”. Handle is a presentation grade Desert Ironwood with mosaic pins.

I liked the style so much that I made another for my youngest daughter and her new husband in L.A. It is basically the same style and size. The metal is a 1084/15N20 firestorm pattern damascus and handle is a black linen micarta spacers with overlying stabilized Bubinga scales and black linen micarta pins. Really has a good look, I think. I hope they enjoy it and use it happily together for many years to come.
