Another custom knife for a gentlemen who I have now become friends with in Corvallis, Montana. We only “met” on the phone and by e-mail, but felt a real connection and friendship. I hope to meet him one day in person, hopefully in Montana—love me some Montana . We worked together on all aspects of this knife—I actually hoped he wouldn’t want it—so I could keep it, LOL. Bud did a GREAT job on the sheath. The blade steel is a 1095/15N20 wave pattern Damascus with a blade length of 4 3/4” and overall length of 9 5/8”. Handle material is magnificent stabilized Pacific Madrone burl. The fittings include: 1854 wrought iron guard with a copper spacer and mosaic pins.

Twisted rope pattern hand filework along spine. Wood is highly figured and has tremendous depth.

Again, Bud did a wonderful job on this sheath. The style is great and the color is perfect for the wood.
