The Annual "Hoot on the Hooch" was the other weekend.  It is their yearly fundraiser and I am alway happy to be a small part.  This year Cattle Dog Forge donated a specially made oyster knife.

The knife was handforged from 5160 HCS with a length of 6 3/4" and a 2 13/16" blade.  The handle is made from Sambar Stag (especially choosen for this event) with peened brass pins and a central "dog paw" mosaic pin.

The gentleman who won it on the silent auction has been by the forge for a visit and we are in the process of getting Upland Custom Leather to make a modified sheath for him to carry it in.
