NEW CUSTOM

Custom hunting knife I designed for a former patient and friend with his input.   It is made of 1075/15N20 “firestorm” Damascus and the total length of the knife is 9 9/16” with a blade length (sharpened edge) of 4 1/8”.

The handle is a beautiful piece of Arizona Desert Ironwood burl.  The guard is made from 1854 wrought iron.  I also used black G10 and copper spacers along with a mosaic pin.  

There is rope pattern hand filework along the spine of the blade and matching filework on the copper spacer.  Sheath is by Bud Siniard of Upland Leather.  This was a joy to make and I am very proud of the final result.
